In the 2025/26 season, Huang was appointed Conductor Assistant of the Taiwan Philharmonic (National Symphony Orchestra, NSO), where he works closely with the Music Director, Maestro Jun Märkl, and distinguished guest conductors. Equally active as a conductor and composer, he collaborates with emerging composers to premiere new works that reflect the voices and landscapes of Taiwan.
Huang’s artistry extends beyond the concert hall into the opera world. In 2025, he participated in Verdi’s Falstaff at the Orvieto Festival in Italy, and in 2024 he studied Italian opera under the legendary maestro Riccardo Muti in Tokyo, focusing on vocal training and orchestral rehearsal practice. From 2021 to 2024, he also led productions as opera conductor of the NTNU Opera Workshop.
Internationally, Huang has appeared at leading festivals and concert halls, conducting ensembles such as the Silesian Philharmonic (Poland), Brandenburger Symphoniker (Germany), Alps Philharmonic (Italy), Orvieto Festival Opera Orchestra (Italy), Tokyo Spring Festival Orchestra (Japan), Miami Music Festival Orchestra (USA), Formosa Philharmonic, Taipei City Philharmonic, and Wu-Tong Philharmonic (Taiwan)。
Alongside his post with the NSO, he currently serves as Resident Conductor of the Ark Symphony Orchestra and Choir Conductor of the Changchun Presbyterian Church Choir, where he continues to combine performance, education, and community engagement with a vision of music as both an artistic and humanistic pursuit.
